Hearns looked good he just ran into a hail mary shot. He was dominating Barkley before that and they probably would have stopped the fight in the next round or 2. Barkley was getting busted up.

For me,it was Barkley-Hearns. Hearns had been on a good victory roll since the Hagler fight, and Barkley had n't made any great impression up until then. Since the Honeyghan fight,Curry no longer had that unbeaten record and aura about him. Plus,McCallum was an established capable champion.

Hearns-Barkely.In retrospect, After he lost to Honeyghan, Curry just wasn't the same, and had those two technical victories, not the same fighter.

But I remember that weigh in for Andries/Hearns. Hearns wore a full Kronk Tracksuit, and when it was put to Manny that weights were in his pocket as well, Steward laugh and did not deny the accusation.

I really struggle to believe Hearns was much more than 168 for that fight.

Hearns V Barkley. I believe I read somewhere that Barkley was pissing blood after that fight. Hearns was whipping that ass for 2 & 1/2 rounds.

True, but Barkely was a Spade from back in the day with Mitch, he could deal!

Hearns looked good against Denny Andries in 1987.... Hearns was strong and getting off with shots left and right..... Andries was green, but tuff as a dollar steak at a truck stop..... However, I hated that yo-yo referee from South America.... The vato was a total jackass.....

I just popped in "Hearns-Andries" from '87 to review.... The ref here sucks bad.... He's clueless..... He's a derelict from South America.... Ugh!
