Currently Ortiz by a small margin.
But Cotto was way, way more dangerous for Floyd when he was in his prime.

Close but I'd still say Cotto. He's smarter & more experienced.

even Berto beats Ortiz in a rematch.

as of right now probably Ortiz...pre Margo, Cotto by a landslide...I just dont see anything in Cotto right now that would bother Floyd, IMO he clearly has not been the same since the beating he took. Mike Tyson also believes that Cotto is finished. Ortiz is quite a bit bigger (than Floyd) and has a "nothing to lose" type of mentality and is coming off of a big upset win. He is also a more powerful puncher than Cotto.

So, it's not just "*****" opinion that Ortiz is a bigger threat, there is actually an argument that backs up the logic.

    Cotto, easily.

Skill, experience and proven world-class abilities, over a 'young, hungry, lion' any day.

Ortiz. Stronger, younger, more bullish, better hitter, southpaw, decent speed. Cotto of now is skittish and fighting a style he was never great at.

Cotto is a flat footed, one handed fighter, with poor defense, little head movement, and suspect footwork. He's also shorter than Mayweather with a much shorter reach. There's little doubt in my mind what would happen in that fight.

The way the TS put it was as if one answer is the correct answer (Cotto), and another is an answer that one would give to fit an agenda (*****- Floyd fighting Ortiz). IMO it is up for debate.

Cotto, Im still not convinced Ortiz is near elite level. Sure he beat berto in his last fight after a good showing but Berto hadn't really done much prior to this and he still put ortiz on the canvas twice.

Previously Ortiz had shown us he could blow a pretty much sure win against Peterson and showed he dosent like to fight against Maidana. The boy has talent however but he's gonna lose a wide decision or late stoppage in my opinion.

Cotto I think could still trouble Floyd for a couple of rounds but would again be beaten by a wide UD, just not as wide as Ortiz.

I think Ortiz only chance is to go out and try and smash Floyd early and get him out of there.
