Of course Cotto, that's why he chose Ortiz. Cotto's been in battles and he's not a spring chicken, but he has more ring savvy and mental toughness than Ortiz... Ortiz has nothing to lose except to say he's never gotten a big payday, until NOW!!! :hey

Cotto is/was the better fighter, and is more skilled but he has durability issues, and is not as big and certainly not as powerful as Ortiz, add to the fact that he is shorter, and you see why he likely loses, Ortiz loses too but he has much more of a puncher's chance than Cotto.

I refer to Floyd as to being a "coward" when it comes to Manny. I've never said he's in "general" a coward. So I keep it in perspective. I've never said Floyd ducked anyone...EXCEPT PAC. I've always said Floyd "walks the walk and talks the talk"...Except with PAC.

You calling Mayorga a "CHUMP" had no frame work...you didn't say "relative to Elite caliber boxers". He did pretty well with Cotto and Shane who are considered top fighters... I don't think a "BUM" would have the ability to compete with "TOP" guys.... Do you? Maybe we have different definition of the word "Bum". And Mayorga has always smoked in camp.

I'm in no way saying Mayorga is ELITE...I'm just saying the guy at the moment is still dangerous with his power and awkwardness...and like it or not...he's a hardened and proven ring vet.. He's got experiecne against the best...and of course came up short.

Yep. Cotto struggled with Judah when he was in his prime. Floyd would eat him up now.

So basicly what your saying is Cotto who beat Mosley who ended up beating Margarito after Margarito Beat Cotto and Potentially beat him illegally, Cotto who lost to Manny Pacquiao the #1 P4P fighter on the planet Floyd doesnt even want that fight, and he beat Clottey, your saying thats not elite?

Get the **** out of here seriously grown men are talking boxing here.
As I called you out for it in the Star Power thread, your saying this only because Floyd is fighting him not because this is the reality.

Going life and death and barely beating Berto makes you better than Cotto now?
