Bigger upset this year, what Jhonny Gonzalez did to Abner Mares in one round or what Maidana did to AB?

Gonzales for sure. It was emphatic, and Mares was p4p on many peoples' lists.

Mares losing was the bigger upset. He hadn't shown as many flaws as Broner and had been proven. Although he was caught cold in round 1, he suffered less in his loss than Broner in his loss to Maidana. Broner got a career altering ass whooping. He will never be the same.

    Depends on your perspective.

Gonzalez just because of the fashion he KO'd Mares.

Gonzalez - I thought he was almost done as a fighter before this fight but he absolutely wiped Mares out.

Maidana-Broner. They saw him as the next big superstar and the next Mayweather and was beaten by this "Journeyman". Mares wasnt that hyped I think.

Gonzales by far. I had Mares on my P4P list.

The only surprising thing about Broner-Maidana is MM didn't get robbed on the cards against Broner where many other have before him. I knew Broner was truly awful but I didn't know his chin was packing so much china that he couldn't stop on his feet against a guy who couldn't knock down glass chinned Khan, Average Alexander and shot to **** Morales.

It didn't surprise me that Gonzalez knocked Mares down, he's obviously better than Maidana. But I was a little surprised Mares went down in round one but not shocked.

So if before the fight someone told me which one of these results is least likely to occur:

Gonzalez stops Mares in 1 or
    Maidana UD's Broner

I would've picked Maidana because I strongly thought the scorecards would've been filled out again for Broner.

Gonzalez but the Maidana upset was way more satisfying!
