We all know Mayweathers the bigger name, and better boxer. But at this point in time from a boxing point of you, What would you conside a better win for Pacquiao, Mayweather 147 or Martinez 154?

Personaly i would still go with Mayweather, im just interested to see what people think?

Mayweather is a bigger win and here is why.

If pac was to fight martinez at 154 and martinez looked like ****, it would probably be down to the fact that he was weight drained.

Now with pac v mayweather at 147 there are no excuses to be made.

    Mayweather.

Martinez is a lot bigger than Pacquiao. However, Mayweather has accomplished a lot more than Martinez...and at times has looked unbeatable. A victory over Mayweather would be Pacquiao's career defining bout IMO. Martinez at this point could arguably be the same, but on the same level as a Mayweather? I personally don't believe so.

Mayweather. Martinez is probably the tougher fight right now, but Mayweather is hands down the much greater fighter. Historically the wins that count most are those over fellow ATGs.

Mayweather, but I think it would be the easier win for Pacquiao than going up to 154 and fighting Martinez. Mayweather, despite not fightin anyone good or even being all that involved, is still in the top 3 most talked about boxers around. At this point I wouldn't be too sceptical about the possibility of him having more of a following than Ali. It's a classic case of fans Vs fans, whilst the Martinez fight would be 50% Pac fans, 10% Martinez fans and 40% Pac haters (Mayweather fans). The fight would be huge but it won't happen in my opinion. Mayweather is scared of his record and Pacquiao for some reason believes it isn't that important. Wouldn't you love to sit them the **** down and say "You guys are going to be the #1 guys in the #2 sport if you keep this up". I am so pro boxing over MMA, but you guys have to see that MMA gets the big fights done, whilst boxing is getting so bad for bookings.

From a historic standpoint, Mayweather without a doubt.

what about martinez at 160, no catchweight for a 9th belt right now in november, or mayweather at 147 in november?
( I know that wont happen but what would be regarded as the better win)

Good question, and for me, a tough one...like others said, from a historical standpoint, the PBF win would definitely be more noteworthy...I'm not sure if Sergio would physically harder for Pac to beat than Mayweather...due to his size and hand speed, probably so.

I voted "Mayweather", but it's a tough choice...I'd have to think about it some more.

Pacquiao could never make 160lbs without the weight seriously hindering his performance. He hasn't got the frame to add that type of weight on and keep his speed, stamina, etc.

I would have doubts about his performance if he could make 155lbs aswell.

So what if he comes in weighing around 150 but still manages to get a win vs martinez at 160 would you think of it as a better win then mayweather at 147?

It's definitely a close one. I still side with Mayweather's accomplishments in the sport.

Oh, and I don't believe that you should be able to win a World Title weighing in outside of the weight class range.

Manny would be crazy to fight Martinez. So the only fight we are likely to see is against PBF. PBF shouldn't fight Martinez either. Martinez is too strong for either guy.

Manny and PBF should fight each other already.
