Pacquiao's win against Oscar was a masterpiece. Probably the single most underrated win I can think of. Hatton's win over Tszyu was a great win as well but it doesn't really stack up.

Hatton retiring the Champion at 140 pounds clearly somthing even PBF was not able to accomplish. ODLH had not fought at 147 pounds for many years. In Hatton's fight we cannot say Tyzu was shot because he had stopped Mitchell previously and he gave Hatton a boxing lesson in the middle rounds but Hatton was relentess and pulled through. I was there at ringside.

Im sorry but as much as i can accept what Pac has done, look at his last 5 opponents. They were taylor made for him. I know some people may take exception to this but just think about it.

Hatton beat a Kostya that was prime though. I mean he was coming off of victories against Sharmba Mitchell, Jesse James Leija, Ben Tackie, beat the unbeaten Zab Judah which was a seemingly impossible feat, Oktay Urkal and Julio Ceasar Chavez! Oscar was coming out of semiretirement! He fought stevie forbes who you could say was past prime, Lost to Shane Mosely, Lost to Bhop... I mean since 03 he only won 50% of his fights... I dont think you could really make a case that he was serious about being a competitor in the sport after 03 when Pac fought him. if they fought pre-shane mosely and Pac won, then Pac's win would be more impressive to me, but I think Hatton beat a more game fighter his night!

It's a hard choice because Pacquiao made De La Hoya seem truly shot. I don't know whether he was or not. If he wasn't, but he was so badly outclassed that he looked it, then Pacquiao's would be the better win. However, Hatton fought a good version of Tszyu, albeit not prime, and we know he was still an elite fighter. He beat him in a much closer fight, though it was a great win.

Hard to pick. I think because there are too many questions about De La Hoya, you'd have to say Hatton's win was better but I think Pacquiao beats De La Hoya of the Mayorga fight onwards, anyway. Had De La Hoya looked better, you'd probably say Pacquiao's win was the better achievement.

It's actually a lot closer than many people think it is. Firstly, Tszyu was also past his best. Secondly, people keep banging on about De La Hoya dropping to the weight class he hasn't fought in years but they haven't even considered the fact that at least he already fought there whereas Pacquiao hasn't fought at welterweight at all. In fact, Pacquiao hasn't even fought anyone above lightweight at all and prior to that, he only had 1 single fight at lightweight against many considered as the weakest titleholder in the division. Lastly to the fights themselves, Pacquaio's improved abilities and skills combined with Roach's punch perfect strategy made De La Hoya look old, shot and slow. On the Hatton-Tszyu fight, there is a lot of fouling, holding and wrestling. There was also complaints of some biased hometown refereeing.

Hatton's win without a doubt is better. De La Hoya was a ghost of his former self, weight drained and couldn't pull the trigger. Tszyu, although slightly past his prime, was still the top light welterweight in the world coming off of impressive victories.
