Cotto is way too basic a fighter to get thrown in there. I think the Khan victory would be the best of his career if Khan goes on to dominate.

Your reply made no sense to what I asked.

And what could cotto of 08 possibly do different to cotto of 11 against floyd I would like to hear your reasoning.

Against a fighter like floyd cotto's arsenal is exactly the same, there is a case he has slowed down, so to has mayweather, what could cotto have done to mayweather in 08 that he couldn't do in 11, please enlighten me?

I await your response with baited breath.

Ok, let’s try it another way. If you didn’t mean Cotto didn’t deserve a fight, then you at least meant Cotto had no shot of beating him:

"His greatest victory is convincing the world he had a legitimate shot at floyd." (Bladegunner)

    Fair?

But you’re here now saying you’d like to see Floyd fight a past-prime Cotto (despite believing a prime Cotto back in 2008 not even having a shot to beat him). So if a prime Cotto didn't have shot, then what does that leave a past-prime Cotto with? Pretty much next to no chance, right?

You see where I’m going with this?

You, Bladegunner, are saying you’d like to see Floyd fight a guy with no chance. If that’s not advocating cherry-picking, then I don’t know what is.

Ok, by saying a fighter never had a legitimate shot at someone, what do you think this means?

It means you believe that said fighter is not that good, but that does not mean that said fighter doesn't deserve a shot.

I think Khan would get schooled by mayweather, however i also would like to see that fight.

I thought gatti would get schooled by mayweather but i also wanted to see that fight.

I thought mosley would get schooled by mayweather but i also wanted to see that fight.

I think you know where I'm going with this.

The thread title was what win is bigger, not what I would like to see:patsch

And I actually would like to see cotto get schooled by mayweather, I would have liked to have seen it in 08.

Me saying the greatest trick cotto ever pulled is convincing the world he had a shot at floyd is irrelevant as to whether I would like to see the fight or not. Because I would.

If you cant see the difference in a fighter in a 3 year span, what would me breaking it down to you actually accomplish. Nobody ever stands a chance against Floyd and thats why he is the ESB fantasy fight champ.

To me it's Khan no doubt.

Tall quick handed guy that will fight from the outside would be more difficult than past prime Cotto.

I.E you have no logical input to provide to support your statement.

    Fair enough.

You mentioned 3 year time span to suggest cotto has what? Slowed down, I also stated that mayweather has also slow down. Unless you are suggesting cotto was faster than mayweather in 08 then this point isn't really relevant to the discussion unless you feel that floyd has not slowed down since that time span.

I'm not asking what the thread title was. If you did not mean Cotto was undeserved of a shot against Floyd, then you at least meant he had no legitimate shot against him. That much is said in the following sarcastic comment:

So if a prime Cotto didn't have a legit shot, than what does a past-prime Cotto have? One that will have gone through wars with Pacquiao and Margarito (x2)? I think you'll agree with me that it would be very low, right?

But despite all that, you'd still like to see it take place.

Cotto's decline since 2008, is incomparable to Mayweather's.

    Surely you can see this?

X2 How do you know how that fight will play out:patsch

And i have already said that I would like to see mayweather v cotto, i would love to see that ass whooping. And no a win against cotto at 154 wouldn't be that low if cotto was still able to beat margarito.

Are you suggesting a prime floyd would be beating up on a past prime cotto. Both men are past prime.

My God, you're as thick as ****, aren't you.

Well, at least you admit your support in Mayweather picking easy, winnable fights. That's a start.
