Do you genuinely think the wars against Pacquiao and Margarito, have not taken anything out of Cotto?

The Mayorga that fought Mosley, was three years ago! I doubt he was much better when Cotto got hold of him. And when Shane beat Margarito, there were lots of factors at play to give the illusion that Shane was rejuvenated. Margarito’s dramatic weight loss, hand wrap scandal, etc. I think those contributed heavily to the result that night.

In regards to Floyd’s reflexes, I guess they were waning back when Judah rocked him too, eh? Or when Hatton knocked him off balance? Or when Chop Chop caught him a few times?

    Didn’t think so.

Floyd being caught twice against Mosley had more to do with the brief glimpses of Shane’s speed and power, more so than Floyd’s supposed deteriorating reflexes. We didn’t see him get tagged after that second round, did we?

He has been much better preserved than Cotto. Much better.

That would be a good fight, banking on Khan finding 147 a better weight, and Cotto having trouble making 147, this is a pick em fight for me.

I want to see Khan at 147 first, but my feeling is he will do great at that weight.

Show me an example where floyd been hit with two bombs twice in one round?

You won't be able to find me any. Also you mention the factors that came into play when mosley fought margo yet leave out the factors when cotto fought clottey. The trouble with his uncle is one of the example i could use.

Of course the wars of pac and margo has taken something out of cotto, but to suggest that he is shot is laughable at best. In my opinion he would still beat margo, khan, alvarez, berto, ortiz anyone not named mayweather or pac.

Floyd not getting hit after round two has more to do with his intelligence. After two times he was able to make the adjustment that was needed not to get hit again.

Floyd has never been one to take a beating because he is that good, just the way it is, in 08 when this fight was suggested cotto had already been in previous wars before that.

I agree with this. If Cotto looks awesome in his next fight he would be the better challenge. If he looks sub-par than Khan is the better fight.

I'm not sure which would be the bigger win, but I'm pretty sure Mayweather would have an easier time with Cotto.

Maybe it has something to do with the battles he went through with Margo, Clottey and Pac while Floyd was busy ducking, I mean recovering in retirement and vacationing in hopes of finding his urge? Maybe, just maybe.
