Round 1

Aurieng jabs and takes a few quick sliding steps back. Double jab, more sliding. Aurieng slips on the canvas and Smoger rules no knockdown. Kabayel tries to dive in with rights to the body but can't close the gap as Aurieng keeps moving and pot shotting with right jabs and left hands. Big left hook by Kabayel is ducked underneath with a pivoting step past by Aurieng. Left uppercut by Aurieng while turning Kabayel. Light combos while stepping around, and then a clinch as Kabayel gets an arm out around him after a high miss. Aurieng flurries to the face and gets clubbed between the shoulder blades by a heavy left and pulled into a clinch. Aurieng dances to his right and pot shots with the jab.

10-9 Aurieng

 

Round 2

Left hand lead, right hook, and a fast turned-over combo by Aurieng. Kabayel comes forward and eats another combination to the head while trying to walk him down and get a piece of body with his depth charges. Big combo by Aurieng putting Kabayel on the ropes, concluding with a left uppercut coming up off the canvas with both feet. Quick shots and movement by Aurieng, intelligently tying up as Kabayel tries to whirl on him with big haymakers. Doubled up left hand by Aurieng while circling. Just enough backward movement to stay out of Kabayel's reach, not wasting any movement. Right jabs and left hooks to the head by Aurieng while dodging everything Kabayel hurls at him. Double right hook to the ear by Aurieng. Kabayel reaches over the top and grazes Aurieng with a right while marching forward, but gets tapped with combos as Aurieng dances off and around him.

20-18 Aurieng

 

Round 3

Aurieng draws Kabayel across the ring, playing matador and leaning all the way back at the waist, using the ropes for a ricochet effect, slipping straight rights and countering with lefts while bouncing back. Kabayel tries to lead with uppercuts but gets smothered and held with Aurieng's arms constantly up in his face and upper body leaned into him. Body shots by Aurieng, and a finishing shot over the top while stepping back.
