Indeed - but it still wouldn't show up on his record. In fact, per Boxrec he would have spent the entirety of 2013 inactive assuming he doesn't squeeze in a "real" sanctioned tuneup before then. :nut

 

Quarterfinal #1 - Michał Wlazlo vs. Borislav Vujanovic, 3 rounds @ heavyweight

 

Per the EuroSport UK commentators, this is Wlazlo's first time ever in a boxing ring...so not even amateur experience.

Vujanovic on the other hand did have 70+ bouts and was national amateur champion as well as competing in pro kickboxing.

 

Wlazlo is 265lbs, Vujanovic is 256.

Both are over six feet, Wlazlo by a bit more.

Round 1

Vujanovic is circling and moving his head side to side, wary of Wlazlo dropping jabs and rights from outside. Vujanovic tosses up an overhand right and grazes from mid-range. They circle tentatively. 1-2 by Vujanovic thrown past the Wlazlo jab, neither getting a clean touch. Vujanovic dives in with a right to the body, and Wlazlo cuffs him with a left hook. Wlazlo pokes Vujanovic in the flabby gut with a low pawing jab. Overhand right by Vujanovic while trotting around Wlazlo. Vujanovic gets Wlazlo to dip to his right with a jab and then misses a sweeping right hand, failing to spring the trap in time.

It's pro rules, ring, equipment...no reason they shouldn't count, IMO.

 

Vujanovic is lucky these are only three rounds. He is severely out of shape and conditioning might still work against him even in such a short contest...

He is already slightly gassed in his corner while the green and limited Wlazlo seems fresh...

The more skilled & experienced man here could ultimately have lost this in the gym.

 

Round 2

Wlazlo is jabbing in twos and threes while staying upright, holding his chin tucked in safely. Vujanovic is whipping in overhand rights from a partial crouch after up-jabbing his way in underneath Wlazlo's jab. Wlazlo is catching him on the way in with the jab sometimes, but not consistently enough to dissuade Vujanovic from smashing in with the right hand several times per minute. Wlazlo is pawing the jab exclusively. Vujanovic keeps winging the right in, not quite reaching Wlazlo's chin as he walks through or beneath his jab. Pawing right to the body by Wlazlo.

Round 3

Vujanovic is dancing to his left, shuffling and jiggling his titties, dropping airmailed right hands on the head of the tall Pole. Vujanovic is pushed to the ground, ruled a slip correctly by Smoger. Wlazlo is stepping in now, leading with left hooks instead of jabs, keeping his elbow nice and high as he turns them over. A little success landing the hook for Wlazlo even as Vujanovic pops the right hand up into his face. Big clubbing right by Vujanovic, clipping the neck of Wlazlo as he turns his head and counters with a short hook that stuns Vujanovic and forces him to back out of the pocket a step. Wlazlo jabs over Vujanovic's head. Vujanovic dives into him and they clinch. Wlazlo feigns a straight right and instead lands a left hook on the jaw when Vujanovic charges in. Big windmilled right by Vujanovic, falling short. Wlazlo is walking Vujanovic across the ring, looking for a KO. Vujanovic is clearly winded and biding time until the final bell.
