Bigger's Better XXIV Final - Fabrice Aurieng vs. Ionut Patriche, 3 rounds @ heavyweight

 

Round 1

Aurieng is tossing the overhand left in behind his pecking jab, thrust out sideways from his chest. Patriche circles right and whips out a right hook from his tight face-wrapping guard. Aurieng smoothly ducks in diagonally under some of Patriche's jabs and touches the body. Aurieng is landing the jab circling in close. Patriche falls away from a hooking left. Aurieng throws an overhand left feint and then another in earnest when Patriche retreats from it in a straight line. Aurieng is countering Patriche's right jab with his own and shaking his arms out, getting loose and into a rhythm. Nice jabs and straight lefts popped in by Aurieng, countering right past Patriche's slow jabs. Aurieng bounces his heels up off the canvas, standing in front of Patriche and scoring jabs at will.

Round 2

Aurieng is tapping Patriche with the right jab, wending in between his gloves. Nice left hand downstairs by Aurieng. Patriche is hurt and clutching his left arm. Smoger waves it off.

Wait...what?

I left when they announced it over. So they ruled an injury NC instead of a TKO?

Either way, Aurieng should win the tournament by forfeiture, yes?
