Both rounds could honestly be scored 9-9. Nobody deserved a ten in either.

 

Round 3

Kartozia is walking into jabs and long right hands, kept outside. Kartozia marches in and plants a 1-2 on Bezus' chin, making him blink and hold on. Pawing throwaway jab by Kartozia, walking forward and missing on purpose to set up his right hand while Bezus is distractedly batting at the jab to parry it. Kartozia is able to just nick Bezus on the end of the chin with his right as he pushes him back. Bezus is dancing on his toes, circling right, sweeping out long shots at Kartozia and then flopping onto his back to hump him into a slouched position. Kartozia is sliding in on Bezus, sticking out a high jab, then bouncing in place and waiting for Bezus to try and clinch. Kartozia catches Bezus with a right hand on the face after bouncing in and forcing an exchange. Long clinch. Bezus turns his face to slip a jab while purposefully falling in on top of Kartozia. Diving body shot and clinch by Kartozia. Weak side-slapping flurry by Bezus as Kartozia stays close.

Ilian Ilie vs. Joel Tambwe Djeko, 3 rounds @ heavyweight

 

Wow, that is a lot of the Latvian ring card girl's pale little bubble of a perfectly formed booty on display. :shock: At least 80% of the way up.

I guess they aren't too puritanical there. You could get arrested wearing that some places here.

 

Damn, without having a tale of the tape to consult (you can't just consult the event page on Boxrec since many of these guys are often from kickboxing or MMA) Djeko looks to have a six or so inch height advantage on Ilie.

 

Round 1

Djeko is taking long spidery steps in on Ilie, turned sideways, dragging the back heel, jabbing down at Ilie's body. Whipping right hand on the face by Djeko, ducking back and turning his body as Ilie springs forward with a counter straight flurry. Djeko presses his body against Ilie's and the ref comes in for a break. Djeko is swinging his gloves in circular motions down by his waist as he walks into Ilie, chin up in the air. Wild overhands by Ilie, caught on the biceps as Djeko turns and then presses into him. Light blows on the neck as Djeko smothers Ilie into the ropes. Clinch. Break. Djeko hops in and chops his right hand into the side of Ilie's head. They flurry at each other at close range and begin to grapple, hands tangled, Ilie falling backward onto the canvas and Djeko atop him.

This already blows Kartozia vs. Bezus away for the FOTN so far. :yep

 

Round 2

Djeko is setting his feet at mid-range, leaning his frame outside a bit, and stabbing in through Ilie's guard with the jab. To and fro motions by Djeko, causing Ilie to scurry backward or else get pierced by the jab with no countering recourse as Djeko quickly retracts himself. Big left upper-hook by Djeko as Ilie wades in on him. Ilie tries to get in a parting shot as Djeko circles outside but can't get a clean piece of him. Big left hook loaded up by Ilie, hitting the left shoulder of Djeko. Lunging 1-2 by Ilie, grazing his face but not making firm impact. Djeko is using his size and quickness to be first and in many cases the only man landing. Wild left hook to the body by Ilie, nearly falling over sideways off balance as Djeko smoothly sidesteps and pivots. Clinch, Djeko put in a headlock.
