I think he usually gets dismissed in the quarterfinals. :!:

Round 1

Maslobojev is approaching with a high guard, and letting Buchmuller fire up at him and hit the bottom of his wrists. Maslobojev is slamming in a right cross after exchanging light jabs with Buchmuller at mid-range. Big right cross by Maslobojev puts Buchmuller against the ropes, albeit partially blocked. Maslobojev is spiraling in on Buchmuller, drawing the lead and countering down the pipe with the 1-2. Very nice stuff.

This is being fought at the highest skill level of all the quarterfinals.

We are probably either way looking at the man to fill the eighth "King of 2013" slot next month in Lisbon.

 

Round 2

Maslobojev is continuing to find a home for the right cross, maneuvering past Buchmuller's jab while landing his own to blind the much shorter German and then drilling him. Big left hook on the rib cage by Maslobojev as Buchmuller's hands drop. Buchmuller goes down wincing. He beats the count but looks rattled. Another vicious fast 1-2 by Maslobojev moving in swiftly for the finish and getting into position to get maximum power in. Down again.

KO2!!

 

I predict Maslobojev and Djeko both advance by knockout into the finals where Maslobojev times the tall kid and puts him out for a clean sweep of the field.
