Biggest “round surviving” in boxing?

Kov/Hopkins R12 was pure survival.

 

Ali survived a knockdown by Frazier in their first fight, I can't remember the round anymore, but was a good left hook that hit him.

Strangely enough, both Shavers and Snipes knocked Holmes down in the 7th round and Holmes would go on to stop both in the same round (11th) as well.

Spooky.

 

Floyd and Mosley 2nd round in recent times.. Ah maybe wasn't the biggest of survivals but Floyd was gone..

 

Archie Moore has to take the trophy home for the early rounds in the Durelle fight, for surviving four knockdowns and coming back to knock his man out late in the fight.

 

Wilder did well not to be stopped by ancient man Ortiz in round 7 of their first fight after doing the chicken dance several times.

 

Benn v Logan.

Benn was dropped in R1.

Benn then KOed Logan in R2. One of my favourite 2 rounds as a kid growing up.

Brutal KO. Kind of a "Hail Mary" punch, but Benn knew what he was doing.

I always adored that about Benn: He was at his most dangerous when hurt. True fighters have that quality.

Wilder worked a miracle to survive round 1 vs Dustin "the worm" Nichols.

 

One that always sticks out is marquez vs katsidis round 3.... That wasn't a flash knockdown.. That was a solid left hand and it was early.. I watched him get up and even knowing how great his recovery powers were I was worried... He didn't survive... He got up and kicked the absolute **** out of katsidis

 

Fury came back and saved the fight after being unconscious on the floor in round 12.
