given the points in there career that it all happened, id say ali beating foreman, frazier beating ali then foreman beating frazier......

 

Ali over Foreman.

Foreman had DESTROYED the only 2 people that had beaten Ali at that time, and pretty much everyone was sure Ali was gonna die out there against Foreman. Ali comes and TKOs Foreman, getting, in my opinion, the greatest win of all time.

 

for me its frazier beating ali , frazier beats a fighter a lot of people regard as the best ever heavyweight and at the same time keeps his focus and dignity while ali tries his best to verbally degrade him take away his pride and manhood also put that with the mental stress frazier must of gone through seeing the effects that ali's scurrilous behaviour must of had on his family and loved ones

Based on my feelings at the time the fights took place:

1. Ali v Foreman (I didn't give Ali any chance in this fight)

2. Foreman v Frazier (I favoured Frazier but not with any confidence)

3. Frazier v Ali (For me this was a 50-50 fight going in)

 

1_ali over foreman, because ali was past his prime and george was in his prime(but ali wanted no part of the rematch)
2_foreman over frazier, he destroyed in 2 rounds the man who did beat ali
3_frazier over ali, ali was 5 years past his prime.

 

1) Muhammad Ali over George Foreman

2) George Foreman over Joe Frazier

3) Joe Frazier over Muhammad Ali

 

Well, the 1st Ali-Frazier fight had opinions split down the middle on who would win, whoever won was never going to be a shock, it was big because its the fight that had to happen & both were unbeaten.... so thats out.

Foreman was a big underdog & just destroyed Frazier, major shock, nobody before or since has done that to Joe Frazier.... could be this one.

Ali KOing Foreman & the manner in which he did it was unbelievable, he also was a big underdog & nobody before or since has did that to George.... could be this one.

Foreman was 24 & possibly taken lightly by Frazier in that fight if we`re being picky... Ali was 32, became the 2nd man to recapture the HW title & was definitely not taken likely by George, George came to steamroll him & was simply mastered.

Ali-Foreman gets my vote !

 

Frazier over Ali was the biggest win, IMO.

 

Ali over Foreman.

Ali was past prime against Frazier and Foreman had a massive stylistic advantage over a Frazier who had lost his prime in the first Ali fight. Ali past his best beating the biggest beast in boxing history is the higher achievement.

 

i knew you would pick ali/foreman ,its not a slur or insult so please dont take it that way its just the style of fighter .which i guess for me is what this question comes down to for most. i prefer to watch frazier you i would guess ali. i would say hagler beat leonard but i would think you thought leonard won. styles as they say make fights but they also shape opinions
