Darke's excellent commentary always added unintentional hilarity to a British boxer getting a pasting.

CBS took his beating like a man, no excuses made and simply beaten up by a man on a different level to him. Credit to him for taking the fight.

Hope CBS does well in the future and we also see Zurdo v Opetaia soon.

Inoue gave Fulton a lesson. It was an offensive masterclass

That one popped in my head when I saw the thread title, maybe for that moment when Saunders turned around and looked into the audience to try and find the shot that Lemieux had just thrown:

    The general
Consensus online was that Usyk won 115-113 in the second fight. It was close and competitive but the right man won.
I still stand by my opinion that Fury won the first 114-113 but I accept it could have gone to Usyk. Fight one was very competitive and close and for a couple of rounds at least Fury was doing a number on Usyk that no one had come close to doing previously. At the end of round 6 in the first fight I dare say not many would have backed Usyk at that point.

Surprised no one mentioned Starling v Honeyghan.

In a totally different way Canelo v Billy Fool Saunders.

Round 5-6 is when Usyk usually just gets started in fights and comes on strong.

If he is not KTFO by that stage, the opponent usually finds the final 6 rounds very difficult.

Well which 5 rounds did you give to fury then? He got too much credit for both fights, yeah he had 3 great rounds in the first usyk fight, but he did nothing after that and then almost got stopped. Usyk won the first 3 rounds aswell for me, so although fury looked on top after round 6, in reality he was only 4-2 up at best, and then the second half of the fight was all usyk, 114-113 usyk is a very generous card to fury, as is 115-113 in the rematch. Fury barely landed anything clean in that rematch

Starling vs. Honeyghan is a really good example. I recall my grandad sitting me down to watch that fight, and it was a masterclass, especially considering how the fight materialised.

It came off the back of Starling and Honeyghaan fighting on the same card to build the fight, only to see Starling knocked out with a shot on/after the bell by Thomas Molinares and Lloyd winning a controversial fight riddled with illegal and low blows against Yung Kil-Chung.

Starling was so underrated as a boxer, and it also shows how good Don Curry was at his peak, considering he beat him twice.
