You like JC? Don't talk ****.

Secondly, the thread is about cherrypicking :dealNOT 'capitalising on voids'.

As if Hopkins is in any position to slate anyone who rarely fights away from home. The man may be effective in what he does but how anyone can be a fan of his 'style' bemuses me. His tough-guy image was well and truly smashed against JC. The bum held, hugged, ran, rarely threw a shot and worst of all feigned injury and actually expected to win?? How the hell can you take a ***** like that seriously?

For someone of Floyds calibre, it's a pretty given fact that he is cherrypicking.

I wouldn't call him the worst, but for one who is considered one of the best of this generation it's pretty awful.

Yeah, Shane priced himself out . . .and why? Cause he's a ducker right?

You must have him confused with your hero the ducker.

HUGE difference, Shane said all along he wanted to fight Fraud after DLH. . . his team started negotiations, but when Collazo proved Shane was the much bigger threat at WW, Fraud went with the path of least resistance.

The Winky situation had Fraud call out Winky with his big mouth, then turn around and give an insulting offer - other than what the had previously agreed on. Plus, its no secret that Fraud never opened his big mouth after Winky made it clear he would make 154 to make the fight happen.

I already pointed out that this was the beggining stages of negotiations, Shane has never shown any tendency to punk out of a worthy fight so your way off base here - but keep trying.

Now on the other hand fraud has punked out of fights with AM, Winky, SHane and now Cotto.

Vernon and Winky both beat Shane. Sure. But at the time, was Shane still the champ, was he still the favorite to win the fight?

In retrospect we can say "Shane had a lot of courage to give Winky and Vernon fights when he possibly could have made more money to fight other people, but instead chose the tougher fights."

What if Shane had beaten Vernon and Winky? Would Winky have gotten ANY of those other big money fights he got after beating Shane?

And you say "Why would Shane fear Floyd, but not Winky and Vernon?"

Well thats simple. At the time Winky and Vernon weren't considered big threats to Shane. Most people agree that Floyd would beat Shane now.

Why are so many trying to say that Hatton wasn't a worthy opponent for Floyd now? At the time the fight was announced many favored Hatton, and were saying "Finally Floyd is fighting a real opponent."

And on this VERY FORUM, MANY picked Hatton over Floyd. By KO in fact!

Maybe because you made a shitty poll. Its like starting a poll called "Who is the hardest puncher of all time?", and the poll only has three choices:

    George Foreman
    Pernell Whitaker
    Paulie Malignaggi

Why the f*ck is Jermain Taylor on this list? If anything, he's one of the most dumbest fighters of this era for taking on too much at once.

uhhhh, nice tap dancing exhibition you tried to put on. However. . .

In Hattons only fight at 147 he mightly struggled with Callazo . . . What did Shane do to Collazo at 147? Was it even close? No, Shane schooled him after many didnt think he could even make the weight. :deal
