Dont want to spend to long debating negatives about these 2 coz like we said they werent cherrypickers and it's an insulting thread.

Well they were more viable than Kostya.

They also never turned the fight down(Mosley and Margo did for whatever reasons) Collins and Eubank neve got that far. King's demands ****ed Benn over from his payday.

More viable than Mosley and Margo for sure. Kostya, im not sure because of the station angle.

G-Man was agreed but with the same principle as Benn was, that KIng would have options on Roy. And Roy went away from that one.

The demand for a Roy-Gerald fight that would come because they were both American and G-man was getting hyped by big names(Tyson) and was a crowd pleaser with a win over Roy in the ams might have forced Roy's hand but thats hardly a given. Roy didnt have problems leaving MW.

    DM i agree.

Well what you said was both, among the dross there was a solid succession of very good fighters.

I think there was some good and mostly average fighters but for a man of his quality it's worse going through 4 divisions, never unifiying and only fighting the number 1 on one occasion than what Floyd didnt do in his last division before retiring.

Cant see him losing any to the names ive mentioned but to McClellan in 93 at MW by the way. (Biased ,Yes).

You call Floyd a cherry picker yet he was promoted by Arum up until the Baldomir fight.

Yet you praised Margo for how long and his pickings of opponents. And he's been promoted by Arum for quite awhile now.

He was promoted by Arum who Margo is promoted by. Up until the Baldomir fight.

So come on, how can he cherry pick past 135 if his promoter was Arum? Yet Margo wasn't cherry picking?

I would have to go with RJJ because of the way he conducted himself thru the mid and late 90s. IMHO, he could had given US the fans some great fights but he didnt want to take chances. The fight between him and Darius at SMW would had been a great match-up but RJJ didnt feel it was a right idea to go fight in Europe which I never understood because he would called the shots anyways. And there were other fights were deprived from i.e. rematches with Hopkins and Tooney....
