Even though it was for a paper title, A-farces terrible showing against David Haye stands out the most for me.

Wouldn't a choke be when the favorite/champion loses?

  3. Off the top of my head, Rico Ramos.

David Haye vs Wladimir beats that. After years of running his mouth, talking trash, talking big, then running, ducking, then back to running his mouth... acting the way he did in the build up to the fight... he goes in the ring, runs, falls, ect... and blames it all on his pinky toe.

exactly. A real choke would be Judah vs Baldomir.

You could even say Sergio almost choked vs Chavez, but he pulled it off like a G

That was one of the strangest things that has ever happened in a boxing ring. I don't think McCall choked, I just don't think he was in the right state of mind going into the fight. In other words, he had some serious mental issues

Generally someone is considered to have choked when they failed miserably when given their big opportunity.
