Dmitry Salita lasting 76 seconds against Amir Khan.

He looked completely terrified from the bell, was down 3 times and looked like he was going to burst into tears throughout.

It was an appalling performance and a brilliant definition of something 'choking' in a title fight.

I'm a huge fan of David haye and it hurts to agree with you. Personally I thought it was a good tactical fight. However I'm a person that belives that if you don't follow up with what you say you aren't a good person.

i lost money betting on his ass man...i was pissed at this fight...haye talked all that **** and fought like a *****...it was the fight the heavyweight division needed..televised on HBO and everything smh

 

I would say choked is when a fighter who is favourite doesn't perform to their high standards and freezes on the big stage. Not sure how Martinez nearly choked vs Chavez as has been suggested, I think that fight was the opposite of choking he put on a masterclass and got caught in the last round.

Bute vs Froch springs to mind, Froch was immense but Bute froze that night.
