Still puzzles me how people were picking Trinidad against Hopkins. I remember some mates asking me what I thought the outcome would be and I picked Hopkins to dismantle Tito and they were in astonishment that I really didn't rate Tito that highly at middleweight.

Although he regained it afterwards but Holyfield after Holmes and Foreman fights plummeted somewhat

Losing to Foreman the way he did probably dropped Frazier three or four spots in the head to head atg rankings.

Bowe-Golota I - Bowe went from being ranked #1 heavyweight in the world and in line for a superfight with Tyson, to a complete shell and outcast.

Breland-Starling I - Before the fight Breland was the standout star from the legendary class of 84, and the new Sugar Ray Robinson. He was obviously never talked about in those terms again.

Bobick-Norton - The classic Great White Hope getting brutally exposed.

There have been some highly talented and stylish, smooth boxing Panamanians over the years who nosedived off the back of crushing stoppage/ko losses.

Alfonso Lopez never recovered from the first Espadas loss and went on a shocking run that ruined his reputation, his chin let him down repeatedly after although he did beat Zapata. Zapata himself never shook off the damaging losses to Ursua, Chang in the rematch and then Petty. He had success afterwards up at fly for a while but bottled it against Laciar in his most important fight there.

Carrasquilla was more or less ruined by the disaster vs Hong, although he actually fought very well against Pedroza in a sort of last stand.

Pinder beat Chucho and Herrera back to back but then had his career ended by Anaya with those two brutal ko losses. And Anaya himself never got past the Taylor losses shortly after.
