@ Ward being a bigger draw than Kessler, Abraham, or even Froch.

Miranda was pretty popular at the time. Those 19.000 weren't all cheering for Ward...

 

Dude, Kessler has sold out the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen and his tune up for the Super Six against Perdomo peaked at 1.6 million viewers on Danish TV(that was 73% of the total viewing population). The US has 60 times the population of Denmark and hardly any fights get that viewership.

Kessler biggest draw, only one to sell 30k tickets out of the list. Kessler is Denmark's biggest sporting hero too.

 

Says who? Every site I came across said the attendance was around 8K.

How anyone can be so biased to put Ward on #1 on that list is beyond me, that doesn't even make remotely sense.

This is it:
1. Kessler
2. Abraham
3. Froch
4. Taylor
5. Ward
6. Dirrell

 

Kessler's sold out 30,000 person arenas, and has gotten nearly 100k PPV buys from a country with only 3 million people. His last fight against Perdomo, like 48% of the entire country watched. Plus Kessler is well known in a number of other countries (Germany, England and to a lesser extent the US). Ward has no following outside the US, and really has no big following outside of Oakland.

Kessler and Abraham are clearly 1-2, then probably Taylor, then Ward and Froch are about on even keel, then Dirrell (who's not a draw at all, best I can tell).

I don't get the people putting Froch ahead of Taylor. The biggest arena Froch has sold is 8,000 people (as opposed to Taylor selling out about 16,000 in Memphis against Spinks), and Froch can't even get TV coverage in his own home country.

 

Golden Boy? atsch C'mon. Joe Mesi, Spaddy, and Spinks sold big at home too.
