So looking back before they where exposed, what made you overrate their abilities.

    Nationality, style, media hype.....etc

Thought Abraham would win the Super Six :nut

But just because a fighter isn't as good as you once thought, that's no reason to stop supporting him. There's too many glory hunter fans in this sport.

Same here. I felt Froch and Ward were better then him but he would just overwhelm them with his power and KO them.

Dominic Guinn. On a domestic level, probably Richard Williams who seemed destined for a major title.

I dont really support "hypejobs" Its easy to look through them

But in all honesty I thought Haye was going to storm the HW division and knock out both the Klits

    How wrong I was

Wouldn't call it misfortune, but I grossly overestimated Arthur Abrahams abilities.

Boy was I wrong with him.

    Bojado.

I was a fan of Berto until I started following him on twitter, that guy needs some dedication.

No Berto fanboys want to admit their share of hypejob fanaticism?

I am sorely disappointed in Berto.
Pavlik probably the biggest load of hype to come out in recent memory - see you've all forgotten about him already.

    Devon Alexander.

I cant stand fighters who cant time their opponents. Its why I never liked Berto because he is super fast but has no timing whatsoever.

So it pains me to have bought into Alexander when timing is his greatest flaw.

So much talent in Devon, he seems to have a good chin too!

I guess talent and determination can only take you so far, if Devon was a thinking fighter he'd be doing monster waves in the sport right about now, instead he seems dead set on fighting rehearsed under the tutelage of Kevin Cunningham.

Post Comeback Tyson. I thought he'd walk through the division and mop the floor with Holyfield & Tyson after Seldon took a dive. Feels so naive and humbling in hindsight.
