Panchito Bojado...But actually he really was that good he just lacked discipline or the hunger...Also believed his press clippings....Its a shame hes been out of the game what seems like a long time but he would more or less be in his prime right now(28 or 29).. I thought he was way better than Cotto (they came up around the same time) and i thought one day hed be the one to kick Mayweathers ass lOl.

Mark Breland won a title but fell way short of what was expected.
Alex Ramos really looked good in the amatuers and early on...Just solid contender and later top 20 or gate keeper for most of career.

    Andrew Maynard
    DOmincik Guinn
    Eric Griffin
    RIco Hoye
paul Gonzalez He was really good but hand problems and inactivity ruined him..Not much power either...Great amatuer,, As pro slick contender(briefly) but not championship material..

And too many to more to remmeber!!

While we're at it, why don't we shine a light on Danny Jacobs or JuanMa Lopez?

Why is Lopez a hype job? He has some very good wins on his record and was in the P4P top ten before his loss.

His punching technique is horrifically bad. Well what can you do. If Malignaggi had power he'd be an ATG. If Judah had a brain he'd be an ATG. So we cant make excuses for Devon.

    Hype Jobs -

I know that we as boxing fans are very critical when a boxer has too many promises and comes up short. However, to me, the distinction of a hype job does not apply everytime. A hype job is a fighter who has yet to prove himself to belong to his class of fighters yet is highly regarded and falls short. With this in mind, the hype job that I believed in recentely is James Kirkland.

    Arthur Abraham...

Not a hypejob, nor has it been a misfortune supporting him, but me and a lot of other's thought he was capable of a little bit more.

Alexander for me. He was hyped up as the heir to the P4P throne and got embarrassed in his last three fights.

Paul Spadafora - talented, but stupid.

Mike Tyson - Post prison, he just didn't have it like he used to. Still better than most, just not 100%. Loosing to Lennox after he was so far past it and obviously fighting only for cash was the saddest thing I've seen in the ring as a fan.

Neither of those guys were frauds. Both were better than most, even at their worst, but I supported both guys long after most gave up on them.
