All 3 guys had that aura of invincibility at one time. They looked sensational, knocking out guys, and struck fear on fighters even to the point of being avoided. It was as if they couldn't be beat at any stage.
Then came the one fighter who simply just took their soul away. They were never seen the same way again after that loss. Who do you think fell from grace the worst this year? Who will be remembered the most for their loss?

Kovalev is exciting so he is automatically back. Gonzales too, just a midget. Rigo is DONE after that loss.

Its got to be Rigo simply for quitting. Theres people who think Kovalev beat Ward..when Chocolatito's trainer Obando passed away it messed him up he wasnt the same.
    Rigo Quit.

Tough call for me, but I would say Kov, Rigo, then Chocolatito. Chocolatito didn't even lose, imo.

obviously you'd be hard pressed to fall lower than Rigo. Choco was a huge surprise for me losing the way he did in that rematch. i don't have Kovalev falling at all, robbed on the cards in the 1st and by the ref in the 2nd fight.

So did Kovalev. Messed him up so bad mentally he had to join a monastery.

Kovalev imo. The way he quit against Ward, it's almost unforgivable.

Like buying a Benz you seem to notice more Benz’s on the street and you instinctively do a quick comparison. I did the same with the Kovalev fight and studied every significant fight involving questionable body punching and gained new perspective.

The latest example was the Nefrete vs Vargas fight where the legal belt line punches were mentioned and established pre-fight and both men absorbed punches in similar areas and they never folded. I was a bit shocked at how easily Kovalev folded with the same attack. Either way Kovalev has shown he’s still hungry and top three in the division.
