    I see nothing wrong with it. In fact 90% of the hard work is done, so one day off means nothing.

    It's part of his training. He is psyching himself on how to catch Floyd since Floyd is a runner and elusive like a fish.

    At a certain level, the mental aspect in boxing becomes more important than the physical aspect. Physically, Ortiz is ready and a day off will not hurt him. He will not become a worse boxer because he has one single day of training camp less. It's the mental aspect that has been Ortiz weakness and if a day of fishing helps him to relax and focus better afterwards, then good for him.

    I think its a good thing if his training is right, sometimes you need to give them guys a little time to relax and just be... might be the right mental preperation for Vic.
