I hope the Dragons do win tonight. Not because I hate the Broncos, but because I want Dave Taylor to carry a bit of finals thirst into next year (cos he'll obviously need it then).

Am not confident at all about Liverpool. It doesn't matter if they play Man United or Colchester United. They have a cunning ability to be able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

...except against West Ham in the FA Cup final. Steven Gerrard is a scouser, pringle-munching, bar-fighting, match-stealing ****

    Classic final.
I still wasn't confident though. When it went to penalties I thought we were gone for all money.

Should have been! Liverpool nicked that game, they certainly weren't the best team on the day, they got away with it and they know it. I will however admit Gerard's equaliser just before full-time was a thing of beauty; one of the best goals I have seen in the 33 years I have been watching the game

It was a screamer, and he has a habit of producing classic goals at key moments.

He scored another memorable goal very late in the game against Olympiakos (I think). That goal allowed them to advance to the next stage, and they later went on to win the Champions League.

Except when wearing the colours of England Pecks, his international form has never reached the heights of what he does for his club

Personally I think it's a shame when national pride pales into insignificance to massive pay cheques. You have people that spend a massive amount of money to follow their team into another country for something like a World Cup or Euro and watch these blokes go through the motions - no wonder they get a little testy! LOL

I agree, and if he was Australian, I'd be seething. But because he's English I'm prepared to award him a gold star because of it.
