wlad vs valuev - that may well be the BIGGEST fight in boxing....

    p4p...

calzaghe vs hatton.... you'd get the entire of the UK watching it - and i think hattons growing US fanbase would show a little interest in it as well

nobody mentioned dlh - pac yet, why?

to be honest i think anyone that involves DLH plus a big name would be the most biggest..

hatton-pac would also be there, or hatton-cotto

in the higher weights(MWs and above) ..there are big fights like calzaghe-pavlik but not in the level with fights involving dlh or hatton

Personally Pavlik Calzaghe i think would be very big, either side of the atlantic.

    :patsch Chad Dawson is unproven.

Biggest fight that can be made: Del La Hoya vs Ricky Hatton
Best fight that can be made: Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez 3
Most important fight that can be made: Joe Calzaghe vs Kelly Pavlik

Why is this even a debate?? Of course the biggest possible fight out there is MAYWEATHER coming back to fight COTTO, IF Cotto beats Margarito of course. If he loses to Margarito then the biggest fight is Calzaghe v Pavlik. De La Hoya is one of my favourite fighters ever, and I still believe he nicked the Mayweather fight due to quantity-over-quality (of punches, of rounds), but I think DLH's days at the top are gone now, Cotto or Margarito would beat him just now. There is no-one big name enough at lightweight to allow Pacquiao to feature in the biggest fight (though of course we're all waiting for Pacman-Marquez III- I thought Marquez won their second fight), but Pacquiao v Hatton would really be something. Despite all the factors against him, I'd really fancy Pacquiao's speed and power against Ricky, who I think is sadly on a downward spiral.

    So... 1- Mayweather v Cotto
    2- Calzaghe v Pavlik
    3- Hatton v Pacquiao
