147: Tommy Hearns was massive as a welter, i don't pick more than 5 fighters over him at that weight.
135: Shane was an amateur light welterweight, as a lightweight he was huge and strong.
154: Canelo is a huge super welterweight.
168: Has anyone here seen Shawn Estrada?, the guy looked like a heavyweight, i don't understand how he was capable of doing 168.

Griffith was massively strong..and even with a 10 lb deficit, was able to outstrength Dick Tiger at times during that title winning 15 rounder in 1966. Hell, Griffith, from the waist up was big even at middleweight.

Lawrence Okolie is pretty big, but there have been quite a few 6'6 cruisers before him.
    Like Carlos Negron.

Kelly Pavlik at mw was a huge.
Watch Vince Phillips against Tszyu when he won the title at jw.
Even though the were basically the same height Vince dwarfed Tszyu.
Jeff Fenech at bantamweight and at 122lbs was huge.

147: Mark Breland...even taller than Hearns.
118: Carlos Zarate probably was the "tallest for his weight" fighter I've ever seen.

115: Not height, but bulk...Khaosai Galaxy. Normal height for his weight class, but always looked 10-20 lb. heavier than his opponent.

Mostly modern fighters of course (one day weigh-in), in no order:

    McClellan (MW)
    Chavez jr (MW)
    Clottey (WW)
    Margarito (WW)
    Paul Williams (WW)

Those are the one who have really stood out in my book. But of course Barkley was a ridiculously big MW also. Look at him and Duran beside each other, and Duran did after all scale 156,25 for that one. That whole era of MWs... Eubank, Watson and Nunn etc. Oh yeah, Corrales at 130 is another.

Of the oldies... Moore looked really big at MW. Same was likely true of Charles, but I haven't seen footage of him at the weight. Saddler is another. If I remember correctly he looked a whole lot bigger than Pep. Monzon looked big for his era also.

Victor Galindez was big for a LtHvy...even with same day weigh-ins.

Don't know how to categorize Bob Foster.

    Hugo Pineda at 140.
Guillermo Jones at wherever he started.
    Dingaan Thobela at 135.
    Valuev.
Donaire and Pacquiao at their lowest weight.
Porter is extremely large for 147, just not in height.

Lionel Rose at bantam. When my father was asked if Lionel was the best bantam he'd fought he said he thought Lionel was the best feather he fought.

Former bantamweight champ Panama Al Brown always comes to mind when the subject is tallest boxers for their weight. However, I see that BoxRec has now reduced his height to 5'9", from the 5'11" he was until recently. Also in the old Ring Record Books he was always listed as 5'11". Anyone knows the reason for this reduction?

Porter was an amateur middleweight, he faced DeGale, Usyk, Jacobs, Wade, etc...
The fact that he is a welterweight makes clear that he is probably the strongest welterweight in the world and the most draining guy to fight in the division.
