Calzaghe - Mike64. Dan-b is at least objective when it comes to Calzaghe at times where as Joe could take on Klitscho and win and Mike would find something to criticise him with.
Incorrect. I'm often very critical of him yes; his resume, his frequent contradictions... but I certainly don't hate him. In fact I was on a knife edge before they announced the Hopkins/Calzaghe fight winner; I desperately wanted Calzaghe to win. If I went round the forum posting... slaperty.. slaperty.. fraud.. ***** fisted couldn't punch through a wet paper bag Calzaghe etc .... (like you do with Hatton; darts, fat..C@nt... etc) you may have a case. The thing is, I don't. The fact that I'm not a nut-hugger of him, doesn't make me a hater. In fact if you look through my posts I often praise him for his achievements, but unlike many of his Huggers, I keep them in perspective. In fact I'm largely indifferent about him, its just when I see posts making him out to be what he isn't, declaring him the best boxer ever, how he would easily beat a prime Roy Jones, how he could take on the heavies etc... It just sets me off..
The sad thing is that you two are so blinded by you love of Calzaghe that you think that anyone who dare question anything about him is a hater. You fail to realise that people can be impartial to fighters.
No honestly, its better to just come out of the closet as a hater. You are joining some fine company. Your bestest friends are there. You can chuck some darts with Sleaze and onourway You can pretend to be all objective by claiming you don't hate Calzaghe in every post you make on him, but the proof is in the pudding. If you thought you were coming off as legitimate you wouldn't feel the need to explain yourself all the time, it reminds me of your boyfriend ramming how down to earth he is down our throats.
Flint Island: Any greedy **** of a boxer who has made more than 50,000 quid over the course of his career.
I was beginning to worry that I wouldn't get a mention. On a serious note, if Calzaghe did beat Klitschko it would only be because Klitschko is the best of a very bad bunch.
GazOC - you have misunderstood me. I dont begrudge fighters or any person in any profession making as much money as they can I'm not rich - but if I had the opportunity to make millions I would take it. Its the way ****s like Ricky Hatton and Ray Hatton go about it that makes me think they are con job greedy ****s. I dont hate Felix Trinidad or Floyd Mayweather and they are rich. Calzaghe - I didnt begrudge him - but towards the end of his career he is starting to look a greedy **** now - fighting a old man for a "pension" fight - not good:-( Hatton is rich because he is "popular" it's all a con though - Hatton don't love the fans he just playing a game to net the most cash
