It's always difficult to tell who hit the hardest because you can't really gauge those things very accurately given the massive power and the diversity of factors involved.

If I had to choose, I think it's between Wlad and Zhang. Both have freakish power and proved it against durable opponents. They are also quick for their size.

I also rank Wilder and Joshua about the same, with Wilder being more explosive (he could generate huge amount of power quicker and even deliver it in weird angles). However, the sheer brutal force of Joshua's right hands and uppercuts match that, when given the time to load up (see the Helenius and Ngannou KOs).

Dubois has very good power but he is the least impressive for me since he need to land more than the others.

If we talk about combinations, then it's Joshua > Zhang > Dubois > Wlad > Wilder.

Wilder may be the biggest puncher if you use a punch bag arcade or something, but you've got to prove it when it matters.

Disregarding ability to set the punch up, for pure, raw 1 punch power, it's Wilder, imo.

Wlad the greatest puncher of these, imo.

Joshua had a hellish uppercut like he showed against Wlad and Whyte. Shame he’s been so gun shy in recent years that he hardly throws it anymore in case he gets countered

Either gun shy or too reckless. It would do good for him if he was gun shy in the Dubois fight, lol. He was swinging wild in there!

    Wlad
    Sanders
    Zhang
    Wilder
    Joshua

Hard to order them. Does Tua count? He was still very good in the early 2000's.

The problem with Zhang is they consistantly get back up with enough faculties in order to defeat him.

That one guy happened two times and that one guy was one of about two top 5 heavyweights Wilder ever fought.

I'd have no trouble with Wilder being nominated for biggest single shot. He was a one trick pony tho, unlike the others.

P.S. Wilder sure didn't get back up to beat Zhang.

Can’t include a shot Tyson. Yeah Lewis fans still regard that as one of his biggest win but that version Tyson was KOed a lot easier by Williams an Mcbride after that which proved he was totally washed up by then

Wouldn't put Wilder anywhere near Wlad. Wlad knocked out or dropped fighters with solid chins, legitimate contenders. Wilder spent a decade fighting C-grade punching bags, and then took on a post-cocaine Fury, thinking he would be past it, and he was lucky to get a draw, then he got obliterated in the 2nd and 3rd fights. Aside from an 82-year-old Luis Ortiz, there's not one knockout on Wilder's resume that puts him alongside an elite puncher like Wlad.
