I think Khan is the biggest hypejob not Pavlik,Pavlik is the WBC 160lb champion, beat **** out of Taylor to get it.Whats Khan done?Other than getting wobbled, knocked down and knocked out. He`s pure hype.

    Im not saying it's excuse.

Pavlik is a happy go lucky guy who never makes excuses but it was clear he didn't belong above 160 when he fought Jermain.

And size was not a factor but weight was, Hopkins was stronger and weighed more.

With that said, Pavlik lost a weight he shouldn't fight at regularly. I dont see how a middleweight champion was a hype train when he has yet to lose at 160.

when everyone thinks you're going to KO Bernard Hopkins, you're a hype train....lets be real, he got overrated because he beat Jermain Taylor, who was overrated himself

Pavlik is not no were near as great as he was made to be, people were talking about he being one of the P4P best in the world (which he isn't, he's a very limited fighter who can hit hard) and above that people were talking about him being one of the great middleweights of all time, hell he hasn't even proven he's the best middleweight in the world (and he wont till he beats Abraham)

the man was definitely vastly overrated

I didn't think he was going to KO Hopkins but its fair to assume he was going to beat him based on the expectancy of Bernard getting older, **** he was 43..

Pavlik is a good fighter, he has a long way to go before he can be great but to label him as a hype train at 160 is unfair. Let's just say, he needs to prove himself more but he's not a hype train.

    Fair enough? :good

    Khan.

No one had heard of Prescott and the fact that Greedy ******* Inc (Khan and Warren) put the fight on PPV and built Khan up to be something he's not (or at least not yet) made it all the more satisfying when he was put on ***** street by a jab and knocked the **** out a few seconds later.

i agree, i think Pavlik's a good fighter, very good fighter even.....but to toss around the word great or even ATG with the guy is too much

but yeah, fair enough, at the very least he's one of the most exciting fighters in the world, which deserves credit in itself

Count it. He almost got knocked half way across the ring by the first jab some his size actually landed on him. Then what does he do, goes streight back at the guy and gets KTFO in pretty much the KO of the year.

Hopkins had to bulk up to go to 175, and was fighting at 160 for over a decade before that. These two guys are basically the same size, and me saying that Pavlik is no less a natural 175 than Hopkins was just an elaborate way of saying that.

I'm not saying that Pavlik should be fighting at 175, but that is clearly not the reason he lost this fight.

How the **** can hype make you the man at 147? :patsch

Margarito was a proven, genuine world champion.

There is no hype surrounding Margarito, Cotto or Pavlik.

    They proved themselves!
