I liked him as a fighter but when he died you couldn't mention that he was a probable scum bag outside the ring because there was a mod on here (who's since gone, thank goodness) who was threatening to ban anyone for saying so. From the tributes that came in you'd have thought they were mourning Dr King and Mother Theresa rolled into one.

Id like to correct you on that myth. Paul did not shoot his girlfriend. Somebody pulled a gun from a purse an when somebody grabbed it it went off. know your facts before you say stuff no offense

There's been a few British boxers turned up with bullets in their heads. Presumably that wasn't due to disgruntled fans of their opponents.

Of course, the wikipedia article didn't mention that he'd hit his other baby mama earlier that year and she filed a restraining order against him. Or that the reason his girlfriend was driving was because he'd had his license revoked for public drunkenness and urinating on a city sidewalk just days before the shooting. For that kind of information, and the details about how Nadine Russo had driven Spadafora's humvee over a concrete divide and popped two tires right before pulling over to the gas station where he shot her you'd need to read these articles.
