Obviously everyone has a right to an opinion but some of the boxers on the lists were world champions for a long time and beat good opponents along the way.

Apparently he was sparring with Koborov for his reent fight and Koborov said, he was one of the main reasons for his performance.

Andre Dirrell - Very talented fighter . First man to beat Froch in my eyes .

Kelly Pavlik - Great puncher , mentally strong . Too bad Hopkins ruined him .

Isn't it too early to add Broner to that list?. Broner gave the fans what they want by fighting a tough opponent when he could have taken the easy route and handpicked others to milk his 0 for as long as possible. He chose the tough path and is being insulted for it rather than appreciated. The fans complain about fighters seeking the "money first" route yet seem to encourage it.

Yeah people would talk about his being this talented guy who could/should have done more, but I thought he did pretty well for himself despite having modest talent/skills for a world class fighter.

He had an excellent jab, and heavy hands. His defense wasn't that good, his chin and stamina were somewhat shaky. His balance wasn't very good, he'd often lead forward too much after throwing a 1-2 and it would mess up the leverage/angle of the left hook following it.

The "lost generation" of heavyweights in the 80s (Spoon, Tubbs, Dokes, Page, Thomas, etc...) were considerably more talented. Rahman beat an ATG heavyweight, beat Corrie Sanders before Sanders destroyed Wlad and lost to Vitali for the vacant Ring title, drew with David Tua (Rahman was cheated in both fights). He did pretty well for himself, especially given his late start in the sport.

Right, excellent point I think folks are misinterpeting the ask here. The list should have guys like Fransico Bajado and Jorge Linares, Mike Jones....

I for one admit I thought Broner was going to duck Maidana before the fight was signed .

He surprised me there when I heard the fight was signed .

Despite Broner catching the ass whooping of a lifetime , he showed massive heart and kept fighting back and even managed to STAGGER Maidana in the last rnd (Something Floyd never came close to doing ) .

The fact Broner badly wants Maidana AGAIN to avenge his loss shows his massive heart .

David Haye: Still achieved some good feats but should have accomplished a lot more with his talents.
    Valero
The Linares shout by Caper is brilliant as well

It isn't a let down on his own account but felt McClellan could have been an all time great also if it wasn't for his tragedy
