Fights when guys could’ve won, but they expended far too much energy early on and subsequently had nothing left in the tank, and either went of to get stopped, lose or just not win when they could’ve.
Not sure about the "could've won" part, but some standout load shots are, jr. Jones-McKinney Vivian Harris-Maussa Honeyghan-Starling Lem Franklin-Pastor (according to ringside reports)
David Izon-Derrick Jefferson Lamon Brewster-Wladimir Klitschko 1 im not sure about Ali-Foreman, as Ali was getting the better of it even before Foreman got tired. Ali outfought him all night.
I remember Alfredo Angulo knocking down James Kirkland and getting too over eager to force a stoppage in the first round. Threw too many punches to the point that he got so tired and ended up getting knocked down himself in the last seconds within the same round. Then gets beaten up for the rest of the fight until getting stopped. Had Angulo took his time picking his shots instead of going for the KO early he could have possibly won, especially considering Kirkland's own lack of defense and fragile chin.
There is next to 0 chance Foreman “could’ve” won by expending less energy… Lyle vs Foreman is a better example
If you guys have seen it Dunstan was class till he started to fade a bit against “Cat” Thompson, great bout. I also think Chris Eubanks Snr unloaded a bit too hard on Carl early which cost him, potentially Haye too LOL maybe they couldn’t have won and it was something called strategy? I’m not sure IDKSAB.
