Prime George Foreman vs Manny Pacquiao has to be the worst mismatch ever. Especially since Pac is a come foward fighter so he would get ran over and out by the 1.00 mark of the first round.

Didn't he have something like 9 losses in his previous dozen or so fights?

And that got him a title shot!

It's because Bowe was ducking Lewis.

I think it's more a case of Rock Newman ducking Lewis, but yes that is why Ferguson got the titleshot.

That's what I understand as a technical mismatch, regardless of that knockdown... For 44 minutes and 41 seconds, Muhammad Ali treated Chuck Wepner’s face like a punching bag, and Wepner took it. He didn’t go down, until there were 19 seconds left. He let the bigger guy whale away, blocking and dodging everything, rarely punching, but when he did, he snapped Wepner’s head with precision on nearly every punch. This went on for the entire fight. Chuck Wepner’s face took a savage beating. For 45 minutes, Muhammad Ali tortured this man’s face. His eyes were cut. His face was swollen. Someone guessed that Wepner was the inspiration for Rocky. Stallone watched Wepner, grabbed a pencil, and wrote Rocky.

Jessie got that odd victory out of no where against the promising Ray Mercer when that so called bribe took place..

Bowe was to have faced Mercer but he opted to tackle Ferguson instead... Shot out of the blue..

Jessie was never ready for Bowe in his second defence..

He just served his head up and got it knocked off and got paid royally..

Moorer got step aside money for that bout and the Bowe-Holyfield rematch maybe even the Dokes.
