Biggest non-PPV purse?

Biggest I know of was Klitschko getting 17.5m for povetkin. All Wlads fights are on free to air in Germany.

 

He got even more for the Haye fight, but because that was partly because of British PPV money (free almost everywhere else) I guess that doesn't count.

 

All Klitschko fights are on RTL, Wlad ensures that fans get to see his fights. It would be great if some of the other stars had the same attitude instead of thinking about the PPV bucks above all else.

 

I don't think Ali ever made that much money for any of his fights.

 

When he is saying $20 million that's accounting for inflation and such over time. Ali made $5 million for the Rumble in the Jungle and made $8 million for Holmes. $8 million back in 1980 in today's money would be huge at least $20 million probably more.

 

Klitschko makes €10mil per fight. All of his fights are broadcasted by RTL, which is not PPV. Most of his purses are not specified, but he did make a guaranteed base purse of 17.5mil for Povetkin and 6mil for Pulev. He also has an RTL TV contact which earns him an additional 4mil each fight.

Felix Sturm was making guaranteed 2mil per fight until recently, not sure if that's the case now, but it could be.

Arthur Abraham also does 2mil.

Back in the day Henry Maske was earning 25mil a year (3 fights, plus TV and marketing money probably).

 

I heard that vitali made 17 mil for ****ing sosnowski. And 22 mil for adamek. Wlad makes officialy something like 10mil. Thats only bis purse + all the money for bis promotion company. I think he makes between 10 and 20 mil fight. Thats crazy and not PPV. So dinovolvet how does it tastes to you? You ****ing ****
