Off the top of my head:

    - Gerry Cooney's seemingly endless injuries, postponements, and cancellations throughout his career.
    - Same with Mike Tyson, to a lesser degree.
    - Andrew Golota folding under pressure in big fights.
    - Muhammad Ali's physical ailments after retirement. People were expecting him to be an exciting spokesman for boxing after he was done in the ring.
    - Roy Jones' career, post-Tarver II.
    - Donald Curry, post-McCrory.
    - Lennox Lewis losing the two fights he should have won.
    - The draw in Lewis-Holyfield I.
    - The death of Salvador Sanchez.
    - Hagler-Duran. I didn't have a lot of money as a teen, but I saved up to go to the closed-circuit telecast of this card (the only time was ever able to do this). My hero Hagler had looked so great earlier that year against Sibson and Scypion, I thought he'd blow through "old blown-up lightweight" Duran the way Hearns did seven months later. It was YEARS before I ever paid for a PPV telecast after being so disappointed by Hagler-Duran.
    - That so many of our boxing heroes had such rough times after retirement.

Pretty recent, but I remember thinking Frampton-Quigg was going to be this epic fight, it ended up being one of the most boring I've ever seen.

Trinidad losing to Hopkins. I was a big Trinidad fan so him losing like he did to Hopkins was a huge let down. Hindsight tells us it was a defining win in Hopkins career but at the time, I was gutted.

Toney losing to Jones. Big Toney fan but Jones outboxed him from start to finish. Again, one of those that with hindsight was a landmark victory for the other guy (who I didn't want to win!).

Jones-Hopkins rematch in 2002. It didn't happen. It should have happened. I blame them both equally.

I knew Ismayl Silkah, but got introduced to Kovalev when they fought...Yikes.

Since my cable got shutoff...decided I'd go to a hotel with this chick, so-so looking-- figured we watched Moorer vs Tua.
30 seconds in fight was over and even worse, her hygiene was damn...smelled it as the panties came off, :scared1:mad:
Used the short fight to say I was too depressed....go home. And get some summer's eve. PLEASE!:crybaby2:

Leonard making Hearns wait 8 years and getting the draw where I thought he lost a close one
Pac and May not fighting in 2010 , that was the biggest fight for me in boxing in the last 30 years

Someone said after they fought in 2015, “better never than late”, which I thought summed it up nicely. They missed the window by 5 years. That’s why boxing sucks in the 2010s.

Bernard Taylor's excuse of a fight against Eusebio Pedroza, even though Taylor won. Probably hurt his career in retrospect.
Howard Davis jr performance against Jim Watt.
Jamie Garza getting bombed out by Juan Meza.
Lennox Lewis getting stopped by a Greg Pageish right by Oliver McCall.
Johnny Bumphus performance against Gene Hatcher.
Marlon Starling first fight against Donald Curry.
