I am not talking about the best boxers I am talking about guys who have marketability and the skills to back it up to intrigue the american audience

the guys on this list are not ppv stars as of now. but champions are eligible they just need to be below 27. And they must be a draw to the american public

    1. Kelly "the Ghost" Pavlik - He is the middle weight champion of the world. he is still unknown to the casual fan largely due to jermain taylor being such a weak draw. but he has the skills and the skin color to be a big draw. He is a tino trinidad or Vargas and then roy jones jr fight away from being a ****ing star! He can be a Floyd Mayweather/ Chuck Lidell type in drawing power

    2. Odlanier Solis - he is a gold medalist. he is a heavyweight! he has the cuban demographics and he has a story to tell. He can be a manny pacquaio type draw except the white casual fan will know his name. And his drawing power will be based on him beating the klitschos and lennox lewis

    3. Yurkious Gamboa - See Solis. he wont get as big but he will be the better pound for pound guy. I see manny Paquaio type ppv bnumber sin his future. He just needs to fight and beat a pacman, morales, marquez and juan diaz types

    4. Julio Caesar Chavez Jr - if he is any good, he'll get as big as tito trinidad. he wont be a delahoya type because delahoya can draw the white, black and latino crowd of all age. But he'll do fine.

    5. Chris Arreola - he is a mexican-american heavyweight. He'll bring in the latino fanbase and some of the while males who only like watchign heavyweights. He can get bigger but only if he can fight the big names (holyfield, tua, lewis, klitschos)

    6. Eric Fields the next great american heavyweight? Stilla big question mark but americans want the crown back. And they dont just want any american to do it they want an american who is young, exciting and believable as the baddest man on the planet!!

    7. Miguel Cotto - he needs to fight a big draw to get more recognition. he needs a mayweather or delahoya

honorable mention - (these guys have the skills but they need to fight recognizable names to get more recognition and attention to become ppv stars.)

David Haye, Amir khan, Chad Dawson, Juan Diaz

If Khan plays his cards right..........and thats a big "IF", I believe he has the cred to do it. Even with just name recognition in the U.S., combined with a European following, he could seriously draw.

Khan - will have the same British support as Hatton
Andy Lee - will be a big name as long as Steward doesn't put him in over his head too early - he should not be fighting for a title this year
Juan Diaz - Great to watch
Katsidis - Brings the heavy punches & the blood
Paul Williams - I like his style, seems like a cool guy

Cheer. Cause Taylor will have done something good.

Although that won't happen because Pavlik will win again.

I'm Italian and I swear you nobody here knows who Calzaghe is, besides, let's say, maybe those 3000-4000 people who care about boxing in the whole country.
No Calzaghe fight has ever been broadcasted here, no boxing news is written on any newspaper. The only time they tried it, they broadcasted Lacy-Calzaghe WITH A WEEK DELAY on a private channel.
The last big boxing event that was covered was Oscar-Floyd on PPV on SKY, who did such low ratings that SKY decided not to repeat the experience.
The only boxing cards that we get to see are those who involve pathetic all-Italian affairs between Italian-level fighters who could't even hope to
become challengers for the European title. Fortunately the almighty Internet came to rescue us, a couple of years ago I had no more than a dozen fights on VHS, now I got 5000 fights on DVD and I didn't pay a penny for them. God bless torrents.

Wladimir Klitschko - never had a PPV (correct me if I am wrong); has fans around the world; gets paid about $10 mio dollars for those non-PPV bouts - imagine if he can unify all titles and fights a heavyweight that also attracts the US public...he could earn up to $30 mio dollars for such a fight...

LOLZ. yes, the unified CW champ haye and unified LW champ diaz need to fight better guys yet you're jizzing yourself silly over no ones like fields, arreola and chavez jr, who the **** have they fought exactly?

haye has it all to make a name for himself stateside, exciting style, huge power, extremely nice guy, good looking, always in shape, at complete ease talking with the media and in front of the cameras.

i don't see him ripping the HW division up but he's got a lot of good ingredients that hopefully you yanks will like.

Why is Khan only an honorable mention? He already has 10million Brits tuning in to watch his fights

Haye also has far more potential at HW than Arreola and Fields

Chavez Jr won't go too far he isnt good enough

More potential future big draws -

Juan Guzman - P4P skills, with some big wins hes P4P and big fights mean PPVs. PS Pacquiao doesnt want any piece of Guzman

Juan Diaz - already a draw of sorts and the top P4P mexican currently

Linares - very young and could be a great with his exciting yet technical style
