What's the biggest potential British fight out there at the moment?

For me, Mitchell v Arthur has to be made soon I think it would a hell of a fight.

If Arthur beats Cook (which he should do) then should Mitchell be his next fight?

Calzaghe - Froch is a fight I'd love to see

a clash of egos and undefeated fighters

Calzaghes dont want to know though

It doesn't mean as much as it would have done a twelve month ago but I still think Hatton vs Witter would be the BIGGEST fight in terms of interest, build up, attendance etc.. proper grudge match which would still mean a lot to both.

If Arthur beats Cook then a fight with Mitchell would be big. However, POW is right when he says Hatton v Witter would still be huge.

I know it will never happen, but it should.
Hatton v Malignaggi is a joke fight. An easy W for Hatton. Would be good to see hatton & Witter finally facing each other as boths final farewell fight after hatton UD's Malignaggi.

    In a perfect world...(sighs)

    Khan vs Hatton

Doubt this one will happen as Hatton is nearly done and Khan would have to move up in weight. They are however 2 of the biggest names in UK boxing.

Mitchell has done nothing to say he is good enough or ready to fight for a world title fight. He needs another five/six domestic fights and then to move upto Euro level. His ability will not carry him that far though and Arthur would stop him by half way.

Jeff Thomas vs Baz Carey II.

Easily the biggest fight that anyone on ESB could hope for.

Macklin-Duddy is the best fight I can think of.

Hatton-Khan would obviously be the biggest.

2 points I would pick up on there Dunky

I'm not sure Paulie is that easy a fight. He's a tough kid on home soil. Feather fisted but he's still strong, awkward and durable. All the makings of a horrible fight actually.

And I think you overestimate Witters profile, personally...

Khan vs Hatton is a 'bigger' fight by a long chalk I'd have thought

If we're talking number of viewers and attendees etc. In fact Khan - Hatton would be a seriously huge fight on those terms...

Hatton vs Khan in terms of intrest.

Hatton vs Witter still carrys allot of weight, as does Calzaghe vs Froch, and tbh Haye vs Harrison would get people going.

Certianly in terms of a 50-50 fight (like what people, not inlcuding myself) though Haye vs Macca was, Arthur vs Mitchell is the biggest. Especially if Mitchell were to pick up the IBF belt. Khan vs Murray as well.

    Prince Naz - Hatton

probably best to give it a year or two before making this one though. Give Ricky some time to catch up on the pukka pies
