Khan has some of the fastest hands in boxing i'd say, and he's freakishly tall for his weight class, good boxing ability, and he's able to pressure strong fighters....also he bangs well to the body, he's overall more skilled then gamboa, and he's younger then he is.....and did i mention his power yet?, cause he also has good power, moves well laterally.....he's very impressive, gamboa's good....but i dont think he's even in the same class as khan but then again Khan is british, so it might just be some people havent seen him fight yet
Khan being more skilled than Gamboa is a little difficult to accept. Everything you said about Khan might be true but you forgot to mention his china chin. All his great physical attributes will be worthless if he is lying on the canvass after a flush shot. The only positive going his way is that the big guns in his division are about to retire in a few years time while he is still gaining experience. If the lightweight will become a weak division in a few years time, then Khan has a good chance of becoming a champion.
well...while that may be true about his chin, Gamboa doesnt exactly have an iron jaw hisself....afterall he did go down in his last fight, so the same can be said for both fighters....but i do agree about there champions reitiring in years to come, Manny's only got a few years left max.... Casamayors in the same boat, and i can see a peak Khan beating Juan Diaz....but he's a big guy like i said, so i can also see him making the jump to jr. Welter later in his career or maybe even a full Welter
