Ike Looked a bit slow and rusty in this fight. They said he had literally a couple rounds of sparring, and his trainer only had him for two weeks prior to the fight. He seemed to slowly adapt at the rounds went on though. He wasn't landing much early on, and started getting his timing down as the fight progressed. He was a thinking/strategizing heavyweight. Something you don't often see. It was masterful how he set up the big left hook, by feinting the right hand right before letting the left go.
:good:good I agree. Its some much different when you see it with your own eyes ringside. When you can feel the punch vibrate in your body because it was so strong and loud. The Klitschko left hooks and right hand on Pulev fall right into that category.
Some punches Peter hit Toney with in their 2nd fight, Toney was along the ropes taking huge bombs...the fact that it was a mw taking punches from a heavy handed hw made its scary looking. Anyhow Toney got an iron jaw
Good call there Hans. Round 4. And not just the one "I didnt know what day of the week it was" Zaggers
