    Well?

Bare in mind level of opposition.

    Major players:

    Gennady Golovkin
    Lucas Matthysse
    Adonis Stevenson
    Roman Gonzalez
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Vitali Klitschko
    Nonito Donaire
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Manny Pacquiao
    Danny Garcia
    David Haye - Smoggy

    Then outsiders like:
Alvarez and Broner. Often the bigger man on fight night by some margin and level of opposition. Alvarez though against Trout shook his boots so we know he's got the power. But need to see a finish..

I've added some like Marquez who are deceptive a lot of stoppages on his slate. For all the masterful boxing he gets the job done inside the distance. Garcia punches hard, but i've tentatively added him to the list. Donaire had been blowing guys out at a high level so the loss makes no difference to me.

Anyways i thought this could cure the boredom of a Sunday afternoon.

Criteria is yours and yours to debate but i'd honestly look at one punch power and level of opposition.

Anyone i've forgotten please add :good.

Ovill "upsetter" mckenzie at domestic level is brutal.

Kovalev has to be up there.

    Haye to an extent.

Stevensson is a bit of a wild card power wise for me, still not conviced.

I think the klits are more accumulation of punishment over the fight distance instead of concussive big punches.

Haye is a hard one i reckon, he isnt really a one punch knockout artist. His first one seems to mess up their senses but he has to have another go to finish them off. Id say matthyse and golovkin are one punch knockout artists.

David Le french name. Huge puncher but only vs cab drivers.

  9. Matthysse golovkin Danny Garcia klitschkos for me,garcias very crude as oppossed to the others who are boxers but when he connects its lights out and I think might develop more as he gets bigger physically

And I think the klitschkos have gone 1 punch power,I think Hayes is more combination punching but he is powerful
Haven't seen enough of roman Gonzalez to speculate

Golovkin... but... he's yet to do it at elite level so the jury's still out.

    It's difficult to say.

Even though it's four years since he scored a knockout or stoppage, you'd have to have Manny Pacquiao right up there.

    Clottey - never stopped
Margarito - only stopped after about 1000 murderous shots from Mosley, then Cotto when he was well gone
    Mosley - never stopped
    Marquez - never stopped
    Bradley - never stopped
Marquez - he was well on his way to stopping JMM before that laser guided grenade detonated on his chin

Marquez himself would have to be right up there.

Perhaps Matthysse, but he needs to do it at a higher level - Peterson was down and hurt vs Khan and Bradley.... even though the finish was very impressive it's not something that would grant him Tommy Hearns status.
