Lewis Ruddock Cooney Bonecrusher Frazier Wlad... This is a tough call, I think Lewis is #1 but Ruddock, Cooney and Crusher are all very close to me... Frazier and Wlad are just a touch under my 1st 4..
I barely noticed that someone bumped this recently, ill do it again i never added up the points will do so in a few more days.
Well Tyson fought Lewis, Ruddock and Bone Crusher and he seems to give the nod to Ruddock. He also insinuated that Bruno hit harder than Lewis. Oddly enough, I think Tyson despite the beating he took from Lennox could have continued if he had the fighting spirit left in him. Jim Lampley seemed shocked that Tyson was able to take that many right hands from Lewis. So my ranking is: Ruddock Lewis Wlad Cooney Bone Crusher Frazier
am I the only one who thinks Wlad's power is overrated? :huh he lands right hands and it takes him above 8 rounds to finish his opponent... and he makes them quit. the Klitschkos high % KO ratio is due to people quitting on their stools and not being flattened every time. while if you look at Foreman or Tyson or Ruddock for example they knock'em out cold. of the above mentioned I'd say Ruddock and Lewis, then Frazier.
wlad is the biggest puncher ever. not on brute strength, but on accuracy and technique. wlad lewis ruddock cooney bonecrusher frazier if you look at it like that: wlad koed brutally never knocked down fighters like, thompson, chambers, brock, mercer, peter, schulz, who were known to have great chins, he knocked down chagaev who was never ever knocked down. if he connects with a straight right which he want you to hurt, then really everyone is hurt or knocked down. and when he gets a clean left hook the same **** happens. sometimes he soesn't commit to his punches. but when he wants to hurt someone, then one punch is always enough
oh, I forgot Bonecrusher was on the list... on another thought I'd rate him above Frazier. For Cooney I don't know, can't really tell since he was knocking out tomato cans... man I don't know the more I think about it the less I know. I'm only sure about Ruddock and Lewis being at the top.
