He suffered a tear/dislocation of his shoulder 10 days before the fight. No sparring, no running, no lifting, no training in the last 10 days before the biggest fight of his career. He then has to change his angle for his R hand to compensate and breaks 2 carpal bones in his R hand and a metcarpal in his wrist. He still continued to throw it, but Robbe says it was just throbbing the entire fight and he was willing to throw his career away if it meant coming out of the fight. In hindsight, his father/mgr should NEVER have allowed him to fight with the shoulder injury. It very well may have cost him his career. :-(
I remember the Maidana fight......I only gave Maidana 3 clear rounds, 1 round a draw and 8 rounds to Mayweather.
A shocking robbery in Britain was a ten rounder between Tyson Fury and John McDermmot. Tyson was given the decision by referee Terry O'Connor by 6 rounds where in fact he was lucky to even win about 4 rounds in total, Big John was robbed!
I'm not sure how you can lump Lara-Williams or Chavez-Vera in with the others. Those 2 fights were downright robberies. The other ones were good examples but those 2 were awful decisions that 90% of the public had teh other guy winning.
