    I didn't see the fight but I had Lara winning on points. Seem many thought he won.

    Had I been betting money, I would have picked Canelo all day. You knew he would get the call being in bed with Oscar and GBP.

    i had the fight even going into the 12th round which i thought lara won. lara will have to learn how to finish a close fight. in the boxing game you dont get many chances to shine ask aaron pryor who surgar doged his entire career.

    The difference is that 98% of lara's power punches were head shots and 98% of Canelo's were body shots. Head shots carry more weight then body shots all day.

    If a head shot is weighted at 1 (one) then a body shot should have a weight of 0.30.

    Powershots? what powershots? I don't remember any signifcant Canelo punches. Not a SINGLE one. On the other hand, Lara was landing CLEANLY on Canelo's fat red head.

    For those of you fools who still want to defend their stance based on compubox numbers.

    For the first 3 rounds(when Lara looked his best) Lara outlanded Canelo
    30-17.

    From rounds 4-12(after Lara started running) Canelo outscored Lara
    80-69:yep

    You could hear Alvarez' body punches landing, they were hard and took a lot out of Lara who was not fighting, but running like a coward. One left uppercut did more damage than all of Lara's punches combinded...................I don't want to see Lara fight again, he has feathers on him and makes people sneeze..........................Lara claimed he would knock Alvarez out, that he was angry and would beat Alvarez up, well, Lara was a huge disappointment, they only thing he did was run.............after the first few rounds it was all Alvarez............
