Amir Khans shameful disgusting cowardly quit after getting a punch in the leg when he was wearing a protector and had 5 minutes to recover got me thinking about all the times boxers carry on when facing a thousand times more difficulty than that.

Denis Lebedev fighting on when he had the most grotesque swelling against Guillermo Jones
Ricky Burns fighting on with a broken jaw againt Ray Beltran
Arthur Abraham fighting on with a broken jaw against Edison Miranda
David Haye fighting on with a torn achilles against Tony Bellew

The Gatti-Ward wars were neither refused to quit.

    What else?

Khan-Maidana and Khan-Canelo — it's tragic because "quitter" and "no balls" were two things one could NEVER say about Khan...

David Haye’s torn Achilles. There’s no debate.

he was RUNNING a lot in them fights

nevertheless that's past tense now. He'll always be known as a quitter, that was one of the most shameful quits ever in the history of boxing.

John Murray never stopped coming in his fight against Brandon Rios, That was a massive show of heart. His face was a bad mess after the fight.

Not sure it was the biggest act of bravery I have seen but Malignaggi vs Cotto was a brutal beatdown including a cut in the 1st round, a fractured orbital and busted jaw. Despite having no power to turn the tide he survived the full 12 rounds. Paulie was damn brave that night...

Has to be David Haye. I couldn’t really believe what I was seeing for the 2nd half of that fight, most fighters would have been pulled out of there but because of where he was in his career it happened.

Tyson Fury getting up from that heavy knockdown against Wilder in the last round winning the rest of the round and wobbling him :deal:

Any millionth of a second moment of quit in his mind and he wouldn't have got up in time. Huge show of heart.
