    Exactamundo.

Heavyweights that lose their legs do not win fights. Ever. Other weight divisions see's an occasional comeback but not those heavies. Once those legs go, they get knocked down by anything and it's not even a big shot.

Remember just before that bell, Vitali pushed him backwards and walked him from one side of the ring to the other. Lennox had not been backed up and walked around by anyone his whole career and did not have the leg strength to pivot to try and prevent Vitali from pushing him backwards.

I agree with your take 100% and the Lewis legs were pretty much the same shape as Tyson had in that last round in that first Holyfield fight. Remember when evander pushed Mike's shoulders and Tyson had to take about 6 ministeps in there to find his balance? You knew the end was coming real soon and any clean punch was going to be the begiinning of the end.

Same w/ Lennox. And that was the Vitali strategy anyway--to take him in the late rounds and go for the late ko, which he has the rare ability to do. It's Lewis that doesn't have a bunch of late ko's. The fight was going as planned for Klitschko and the other guy had reached the stage where he had no legs.

What was peculiar was the timing of the bout being stopped when it was. It was a bad cut alright but the sport has the Gatti/Saad Muhammad/Chacon and other guys fight on in worse condition than that & Vitali was still being competitive in there afterall.

the fact that he even got a shot the first time dummy....thats the freak of nature... at 36-37 years old and staying active enough to get 20 fights in 3 years, 18 by KO? he KO'd legit people in the top 10.... look at tysons many comebacks since he lost to lewis, look at brewster, bowe, "the white wolf" ,
bowe and the white wolf are so serious about their comebacks they have like 3 fights between them in 4 or 5 years...
you have no ****ing idea what its like to be 40 years old and fight the elite of your time and actually hold your own and win some.
real good comparioson saying he barley beat axel schults at 45 years old. you dumb ass. where was axel at 24 years old? knocking out his eras joe frazier? winning gold medals for his country? he should be embarrassed, not george... goo learn something and quit watching youtube boxing dummy :hi:

For me the answer is clear. Only ...
    ODLANIER SOLIS
... in the 245-255 weight range ... however he has been too inactive lately, therefore I would say after three another fights against top opposition ... lets say against McCline, Dimitrenko and Tomasz Adamek ...

thats about as much of a threat as getting bit by a shark watching tv on your couch

    a) solis has 1 fight in 16 months......against not elite carl davis drummond.
    2) he weighed almost 270 pounds for that fight
    c) he has no fights lined up against (ANYONE) ....so to get 2 or 3 fights like that in there....:huh i dont see him being a threat until maybe 2012 ...he is wasting his prime

I'm not so sure about that.

Just playing the numbers game, Solis is not going to go 3-0 against top level opposition. 3-0 against 1 top level guy and 2 softies maybe, but not 3 top level guys. But with King, the possibilities are better that he hardly has to clear out a division to get a title shot.

Ultimately, Solis' prime might prove to have been in his extensive and highly decorated amateur years.

If you took away Solis' money, women & cars and put him in training camp for 12 months straight. Then, maybe.. that'd be a threat.

    d) solis is one of the older generation of heavys and not young and hungry enough, turned 30 this year.

    e) not much professional experience, turned pro with 27 years and has only 16 fights to date.

    f) most important point:
odlanier solis is not only an old, but a rather small heavyweight - for todays standards - with only 6´ 1 1/2 height (that´s 1,87m) - it takes a young and tall man to take one of the klitschkos!

maybe robert helenius could do it in 3 or 4 years (if the brothers are not retired both by then).

a)-f) are all true, BUT nevertheless ODLANIER SOLIS is the biggest threat to a klitschko right now, and none of you argued against that opinion ...

Taking an opponent too lightly because there is no real threat.
