    Who had the most talent and squandered it? Tyson? lol I guess a case could be made for fraudley harrison. Or maybe Bowe? Golota?

    Hamed, i'm sure their are others, but the way he went out was pathetic. He could of acheived so much more.

    RJJ could of aswel had he fought Benn, Eubank, Collins and DM.

    Definently has to be Emmanual Augustus. This guy could have been great but instead elected to throw fights for money.

    not Tyson.for someone so ill disciplined,always on the brink of a train wreck,mentlly unhinged,he over achieved;
    all that baggage and yet and he was the youngest HW champ,unified,with lots of defences.Also the biggest star in the sport and maybe the world.
    he crammed that in before he really lost the plot.
    he could have been like ike ikeabuchi,potential but small accomplishments.hes my vote.

    Juan Gomez from Cuban.This guy has it all: talent,punch,skills,a decent promoter,and so on.However,he has always prefered partyhing to sweating inside a gym.What a waste of talent!

    Strange how he is called an under achiever by some people here when he actually accomplished a lot and fought really good competition at times through his career (some hall of framers too). Sometimes fights don't get made for whatever reasons, Eubanks basically said he turned down the Roy fight because he said that he knew he could not win, said he fought to win. Dunno about the others besides DM lol, DM being beat by Julio who Roy beat easy and made him look like a no body is imo not even worth mentioning.

    Benn and Collins - yes, Gerald would've been a very good opponent for him, but he wanted to make his own name in the SMD by fighting Benn and not going after Roy when he dominated Toney. People are wayyy to hard on Jones, it's sort of over the top and not fair. Or maybe people just think that highly of Jones, I guess it is sort of a compliment.

    Everyone knows that Tyson is the worst case to be made, him and Bowe.

    Lol Yea he was actually a very good fighter. But he fought too many fights on short notice and what you said.

    He gave Mayweather a GOOD fight until it was stopped, he wasn't hurt or anything and that was in a wieght class where Mayweather was often a puncher before a boxer. Had nice power at that weight class, Emmanuel ate it up and dished back out. Too bad he was poorly managed and etc.

    I think Vitali is a big underachiever. He could have done so much more if it weren't for those injuries.

    Don;t get me wrong. I'm not hating on Jones. I rate the man very highly. According to the general consensus on this board, he's normally rated around 25-30 atg. I'm just sayin that a man of his ridiculous ability should of made the top 10.

    Wins over Benn, Eubank, Collins, McClelland, DM and Calzaghe would of got him there. Why the fights weren't made, i don't know but his talents should of got him higher.
