Thought the odds were close to 50-50 on that fight, not much of an upset Cant remember what mine is but off the top of my head, Hatton-Kostya. I called Calzaghe-Lacy to the point of saying he would "easily" outbox him after seeing Lacy's poor performance against Pemberton, but not sure how much of an underdog Joe was really..
I wouldn't call either of them upsets but I picked Hopkins and Winky to embarass Tito and many people thought I was crazy.
I picked that one as well, but I feel like I've picked bigger ones that that, I just can't remember them.
Mine was Brewster over Wlad in 04 as well, I been watching Brewster for years before that fight, knowing he's never been down, and has been in a couple wars going into that fight, plus his power, I really thought he had a shot at beating Wlad, it was one of my greatest Boxing viewing moments.
Holyfield over Tyson I I knew that Holy would not be bullied by anyone and I knew that if you took that element away from Tyson that he becomes avarage. With Evander's style of close-in fighting and Tyson's susceptbility to uppercuts I thought that Holyfield could do it. When we went around the room I was the only one that called it for Holyfield. Everyone thought I was being sarcastic because it was considered a mis-match.
I predicted Oliver McCall to stop Lewis in the first fight, he was being so overlooked, it was just waiting to happen........
